Awesome experience. Will definitely book again when I'm back!

This is my second time staying at Sarasa Hotel Shinsaibashi and the service is as good as ever (probably even better). The staff are so friendly and patient. My Aunt left our keycard inside our room TWICE and they quickly assisted us in getting it back. They even offered and gave us a second set of keycard in case it happens again. (Shoutout to Yuan! She has been very helpful). Location is very good as well. Located literally a few step away from Nagahoribashi station and Crysta (that connects to Shinsaibashi station and a lot of restaurants and shops). It's also walking distance away from Shinsaibashisuji and Dotonbori.

This is more of a nitpick and I know why they are doing this but.. There are no free amenities and room cleaning is only available if you stay for 8 days and above. I'm not sure if this was the case before but it would be nice it there are free ones at least once. But hey! It's just 150yen at the time of writing.

This will be my stay place when next time I vist Osaka.

Nice hotel and good breakfast. Location is also fine. The desk clerk is lovely.

If the hotel could tell us that the toilet things need to buy in the front desk, that will be much more helpful.

Location convenient

Hotel located near Nagahoribashi Station (Osaka Metro) exit 5a. It's great, I've reserved two rooms and have arranged next together. Smooth wifi and spacious for twins bed rooms.

No toothbrush provided and no rooms cleaning except if you stay more than 8 days. Small bed in single room.

Excellent location and breakfast!

The breakfast was excellent value and exceeded my expectations! The staff working at the hotel are also very friendly :).

I found that the temperature control in my room was relatively poor and the room always felt quite warm. I am used to a different climate, so I understand that many guests could prefer a warmer room. Providing softer pillows and perhaps the option for sheets instead of a dooner could be a couple of helpful ideas. Regardless, I had a good time in Osaka and thank you for having me! :)

Great value! Excellent Staff

A great hotel, fantastic value! Good size rooms for Japan, and very clean! Management are great! The hotel is very well situated, with a train station nearby and a walking distance from the famous Dontobori street, where you can get delicious street food. The staff are very helpful. I can highly recommend the manager Yui Kamishita, who was fantastic!! We mistakenly booked the sister hotel in SHIN-OSAKA, however she was able to shift our books at no extra cost! This saved us a lot of time and money! I would recommend the Sinsaibashi hotel in particular (as it's a chain with many branches), as the staff are excellent.

A friendly and well situated hotel

This hotel was perfectly situated for our stay in Osaka, it is very close to everything but far enough from the noise. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with everything. It is a very clean and neat hotel.

Like a lot of hotels in Japan, if you book a double room with a small double bed, you should be aware that the bed is truly a ‘very very small’ bed. The the definition of a double room is here very open for question, but the room we were given did not have the space to open a suitcase.

Over look good, Lucky I'm an Asian, So small room it's ok for me.

The Hotel stays near metro Sakasuji line and Midosuji line. Overall, it looks great. English-speaking staff. Clean room a little bit small if carry more than 3 languages.

I'm not sure. Is it possible to request a new towel for every day or not? It's my bad that I didn't ask because I'm so tired after I arrive late night at the hotel every day.

Calmed location and a hotel near to everything with great traditional breakfast.

The location was great, the employees were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing. Free coffee at the lobby was a nice touch.

The rooms were very small and the Internet connection was not there sometimes.

Great location just above the train station and the staffs are attentive and helpful. My default accommodation when in Osaka but harder to get a room now as this hotel getting popular with good reviews.

Reasonable price

Nothing about the stay. It’s just that I insisted on getting a cab myself when I was already running late for an overseas flight. I first told the staff to book a cab but later changed it to just me hailing one at the streets. I went back and forth the entrance and the street and saw three cabs but I didn’t call them since the staff insisted to just wait. They actually followed me outside the hotel as well when I was about to call a cab. They insisted that the cab they booked will come soon and that there will be a cancellation fee of ¥600 if I don’t take it. It sounded like a threat to me to be honest. The cab arrived 10mins later. Why did they want me to take the cab/the company they know? Why insist when there are so many on the streets? Why? That was my big question!! In the end, I wasn’t able to take my overseas flight. I ended up staying at the airport for two more days, booked a new flight with a stopover (my original was a direct flight), got another PCR testing that all incurred to more than ¥100,000. So frustrated how the staff at that time handled my request. Unbelievable how they threatened me as if I can’t pay ¥600.
